The basis of the new slick design is the Mini Boom concept, which offers a few unique advantages over other wings on the market.
- The best of both worlds - intuitive hand positioning and neutral drift plus depower: Thanks to the intuitive hand positioning, handling the wing is super easy. The Wing also offers a very neutral drift and plenty of depower.
- Direct and efficient: The steering/handling of the slick is very direct and the power delivery is very efficient without having to apply a lot of power.
- Better stability and upwind characteristics: Improved stability and upwind characteristics compared to previous models.
- Mini boom on the center strut (one length for all sizes): The mini-boom connected to the center-strut offers very easy handling and fits all sizes.
- Reduced wing span: The overall wing span has been reduced for even easier handling of the slick.
- Revised window geometry for better visibility: The revised window geometry now guarantees a better view in all possible riding situations.
This system gives you the full control of a boom and all the advantages of a center strut. This gives you better control over the profile and stability, as well as a much more integrated connection through the mini-boom to the wing itself. You can choose between aluminum or carbon booms and the one size fits all wings. The decisive factor is the V-shaped angle on the wings and the team has worked long and hard to calculate the best angle to offer maximum stability when riding with a front handle.
In addition, the canopy tension has been adjusted so that it delivers maximum power with absolutely minimal flutter. The shape of the window has also been further developed - for unparalleled visibility without making the window larger than absolutely necessary.
