STREAMLINED LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION
The combination of lightweight construction, durability and optimum power distribution over the entire span. The upper and lower sail are made of 34 g / m² TX-Light, the leading edge of 44 g / m² DLX+ cloth. The DLX+ increases the service life and protects against abrasion. The Little Connection Lines (LCL) serve as a predetermined breaking point and make it easier to replace the bridle lines. All SONIC components are designed for maximum performance in any terrain.

LEVEL RAM AIR TECHNOLOGY
The 4-level ram air technology (A, B, C, Z) distributes the forces over the entire profile depth of a foil kite and perfectly fulfills the requirements of a freeride product. The control of the 4 levels via the mixer improves turning and supports the relaunch. The foil kite changes its angle of attack and profile camber without any loss of stability.

REFLEX PROFILE
The Reflex Profile keeps the foil kite stable at a low angle of attack and full acceleration. The counter camber pushes the trailing edge down and prevents a front stall. The Reflex Profile is essential for the control and depowering of a foil kite.

BRIDLE CHECK TOOL
The bridle check tool makes it easier to compare bridle line lengths. There are black markings on each plane (A, B, C, Z) per wing side of the foil kite, which are compared with the front and back main lines (see line plan). To restore the flight pattern, the differences between the B and C planes in relation to the A plane must be compensated for by moving the rings on the mixer. We recommend regular checks using the Bridle Check Tool during intensive use of the product to maintain performance and stability.

AUTOMATIC DRAINAGE SYSTEM
The drainage system is integrated into the interior of our closed-cell foil kites. It directs dirt, water and the smallest objects that get into the kite from the center of the kite to the wingtips. Here, the liquids or objects are discharged via a two-finger-wide opening.

HIGH PRESSURE AIR INTAKE
The air intakes are integrated into the leading edge and ensure optimum dynamic pressure in our foil kites. Once the foil kite has been completely filled with air, the walls of the air intake are automatically compressed. This prevents independent deflation and the kite retains its wing shape.

PERFORMANCE TUNER
The Performance Tuner is a knotted ladder integrated into the C-Pulley Line to influence the curvature of the kite. Moving the Z-Main Line influences the bar forces and performance of the kite. By shortening it, you get more low end, steering/holding forces. Lengthening has the opposite effect, you get less backstall, steering and holding forces. With the settings for brake accentuation, power and depower, you can optimize the kite according to wind conditions and personal preferences in order to exploit its maximum potential.

PROFILE MOMENTUM ADJUSTER
The PMAs are knot leaders that are sewn to the profile several times inside the foil kite. They are located on the upper and lower sail between the A and B levels. By shortening the knot leaders, the profile curvature can be adjusted, which gives the foil kite more power or stability. If a change is made, it should be done symmetrically. We recommend the help of a FLYSURFER sales partner for the correct adjustment of the Profile Momentum Adjuster.

WIDE WIND RANGE
The SONIC is designed to perform exceptionally well in changing wind conditions. Whether you are kiting in light breezes or strong gusts, it retains its shape, responsiveness and efficiency. The enormous depower minimizes risks and ensures that you can confidently push the limits in different conditions and in any terrain. The kite has a sophisticated bridle system and refined canopy profiles that ensure the kite flies consistently smoothly.

ENHANCED ACCESSIBILITY
The kite has advanced aerodynamics that make it incredibly stable in different wind conditions. This allows you to fully focus on your riding instead of having to constantly correct the kite. The internal structure speeds up inflation so that the kite can be controlled as quickly as possible, especially in strong winds when launching. The kite can be launched with minimal effort after a crash or watering. In an emergency, the kite blows out on a single front line after activating the quick release.
