ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY PACKAGING

SWOX tubes are made of plastic derived in part from the renewable resource of sugar cane, instead of the usual fossil fuels. The use of ethanol from sugar cane grown organically in Brazil not only reduces CO2 emissions during tube production, but actually absorbs CO2, thus reducing the greenhouse effect.

ABOUT SWOX

The best ideas are often born out of a personal passion. That's how it was for Max, Tim Peltz and Ralph Kenke when they launched SWOX over seven years ago while surfing in Australia. They wanted a sunscreen that would reliably protect their skin from the sun during their favorite pastime - and do without substances that are harmful to the environment and health.

SWOX became a sunscreen brand with high-quality lotions and maximum-protection zinc creams for demanding athletes who spend a lot of time in the line up or in the mountains.

But SWOX is not resting on its success: CEO Maximilian Jagsch and CFO Laurence Gaubert-Quednau are establishing SWOX in the market and ensuring long-term growth.

To ensure that ingredients, sun filters and formulations are always at the cutting edge of research, SWOX has brought Swiss sun protection expert Uli Osterwalder on board.
