Accessories, gadgets - call it what you want. Everything you need in addition to the standard equipment for your longboard and your upcoming tours, you will find in our LongboardShop.

A longboard does not only consist of deck, axle and wheels. Many other little things, which you often do not see at first glance, make sure that the whole thing works, holds together and is even better, faster or safer.

Regardless of whether you plan to additionally pimp your longboard or regularly replace wear parts, our accessories offer everything you need.

Perfectly equipped - from nose to tail

Bushings

Bushings are small attachments that can influence the way your axles ride. The different models are not only colorful and thus true eye-catchers, but also differ in their shape and degree of hardness. The small gadgets also help you to adjust the axles ideally to your weight. In general, professionals distinguish between three groups of bushings:

  • Conical Bush ings - facilitate the steering behavior
  • Flat bushings - make the longboard more sluggish
  • Chubby Bush ings - block the axle turning after a certain point

Griptape

Griptape is not only important to give your leg the necessary grip on the longboard, but are also a great accessory that visually enhances your board. In our store you will find a small selection of fancy Griptapes that pimp the often plain tops of longboards. The tapes can be purchased depending on the desired length of the board and glued at home independently and without tools on your board. This is really easy as pie!

Ball bearing

The ball bearing is an important component of the wheels and as such indispensable for a longboard. Most ball bearings are designed for an axle pin with a diameter of 8 mm. 10 mm are rather the exception. Always note: Per roller you need two ball bearings. That makes a total of eight per longboard. In addition to the ball bearings, you can also find various cleaners in our longboard store, with which you can ensure that your ball bearings have a long life.

Noseguards

Longboards are collector's items. No wonder that it is important to many to protect their board as well as possible. With special rubber lips, which you can find in our store under "Noseguards", you can protect both the nose and the tail of your longboard from scratches. A supplied cutter knife ensures that the rubber lips can be cut exactly to the required length. The guards are very inconspicuous and therefore do not destroy the look of your longboard.

Riser Pads

If the wheel and deck come too close to each other, the so-called wheelbites can occur. To minimize these sometimes dangerous stutters during the ride, there are riser pads. These are usually made of plastic or rubber and increase the distance between your deck and the rollers. In addition, these useful accessories that you have to attach to your axle absorb shocks and thus provide an even smoother ride. When choosing your riser pads, it's important to make sure that you don't build your longboard excessively high, as this will make it much harder for you to push.

Screws

Logical: If you assemble your longboard yourself, you also need the necessary accessories to connect all parts together. That's why we also offer you an assortment of different screws in different lengths and designs. To determine the right length of the screws, you have to add up the following values:

  • The thickness of the deck
  • The thickness of the riser pad
  • The thickness of the base plate
  • The height of the nut

In some sets you will also find nuts, washers and the appropriate tools for screwing. If this doesn't make the craftsman's heart beat faster, we don't know what will.

Spacer

Another practical gadget that you can find in our store and that is almost indispensable for every real longboarder are the so-called spacers. These are small bushings that you mount between the ball bearings in your rollers. This tightens the axle nut without jamming your bearings. The result is rollers that turn much better and therefore pick up more speed. You have the choice between metal and rubber spacers.

Multitools

Indispensable for every tour with the longboard: practical tools with which you can quickly fix a small breakdown or quickly retighten your screws. Special multitools have all the functions you need to work on your longboard - from the Phillips wrench to the Allen key to the hex that fits into the KingPin, the axle nut and the nuts on the deck. These little helpers are simply indispensable and fit in any backpack or the inside pocket of your jacket.

Often it is the little things that make a thing really good. Exactly this motto also applies to longboards. The accessories and the accessories have a great effect - and that, although they do not cost much.
