The 1550 was Armstrong's first HS Foil and has proven to be a huge success, loved by riders all over the world.
The V2 builds on this pedigree, with a good injection of performance and subtle refinements to the handling. The aspect ratio has been increased, the thickness of the profile reduced and the planform revised - an all-round improved package!

Like all Armsrtrong HS foils, the V2 1550 has a huge wind range and is designed to maximize its potential in small waves. It is a brilliant choice for SUP and wing foiling because of its great range, power and glide for its size.
Construction
The construction is based on a high density foam core covered with 100% IM and high modulus carbon.
The main foils are shaped and refined for maximum stability and predictability at all speeds.
The foil sections have been carefully designed by one of the world's best sport foil designers.

Stabilizer:
Flow 235
The name of the 235 Flow says it all!
It is smooth and predictable and inspires your confidence and flow. This stabilizer builds on the popular HS232 and features a new section for consistent pitch stability, higher projected aspect ratio and a refined planform for an easy and free ride. If you practice multiple foiling disciplines and are looking for a stabilizer that covers them all, the Flow 235 is for you.

The profile is thin but with pronounced camber, which reduces drag while improving lift, forward projection and acceleration.
Linear pitch characteristics across the speed range balance front and back foot pressure and minimize lift peaks when accelerating and decelerating on the wave.
A high camber section delivers the perfect blend of lift at low speeds to ease getting on the foil, while providing excellent controllability at high speeds.
