ULTRA-X: Aluula ultra stiff, ultra responsive, ultra reliable, ultra wow!

OZONE has been working  with Aluula for three years, testing it on various kite and wing prototypes. The combination of materials to offer combined performance and reliable strength without compromising on build quality has always been a top priority and is a reason for OZONE's returning customer confidence.

For the Vortex, the decision was made to use the strong triple ripstop fabric with a rigid Aluula Airframe. Aluula's incredible strength, stiffness and light weight have contributed to handling improvements, especially in the lower power range and when climbing through the window on the loop, when its maneuverability is critical for power and lift.

The added stiffness of the Aluula materials helps to maintain the designed shape of the Vortex even under heavy loads and in extreme conditions, ensuring optimal handling and long-lasting performance. The latter is always a crucial part of the design brief for any of OZONE's  products.

Aluula can offer up to 38% higher tensile strength compared to standard material construction, while tear strength is up to seven times higher.

Combine these benefits with the fact that the careful integration of Aluula can also result in weight savings of up to 30%, and it is the right airframe material for the high performance targets set for the Vortex Ultra-X.

Natural, unconstrained stiffness

The inherently stiff properties of Aluula allow the Vortex airframe to achieve perfect stiffness when pumped to 8 psi for optimum performance. This is our recommended air pressure and there is no need to pump any harder. Save the energy for all the new tricks you'll learn with the Vortex!

Ultra clean profile

Aluula is integrated together with the double cross seam that runs parallel to the leading edge. This is particularly effective in the high-lift area of the kite profile and ensures a beautifully dense and efficient canopy.

Lieferzeiten bei Ozone Kites

Der Hersteller Ozone legt Wert darauf, dass keine Überproduktion den Markt kaputt macht und so der Preis Deines Kites auch für den späteren Wiederverkauf möglichst stabil bleibt. Die Produktion ist daher immer sehr eng an die aktuelle Nachfrage angelehnt. Seltene Modelle, wir die Hochleister R1 werden ausschließlich im Kundenauftrag produziert. Die Lieferzeit für Ozone Kites, die nicht in Deutschland (bei uns oder Ozone) auf Lager sind, liegt unter normalen Bedingungen bei rund 4-5 Wochen. Unter den aktuellen Corona-Bedingungen kann die Lieferzeit auch 8 Wochen betragen. Bitte bestelle also rechtzeitig!
