The Alpha V2 is Ozone's high performance inflatable single strut kite.
It's easy to handle, incredibly light and very effective - an asset to any quiver.
The second version of the Alpha V2 single strut kite offers amazing ride and hydrofoil performance for beginner to intermediate riders, while the lightweight single strut design is perfect for travelers who need to keep an eye on weight and packing volume (the 12 Alpha V2, for example, weighs just 4.3kg).
The Alpha V2 features the new"Continuous Curve Leading Edge Construction". Each segment is curved to form a perfectly smooth arc from tip to tip, as opposed to straight segments with angled joints. Cross sail shaping has been incorporated to perfectly match the sailcloth to the new continuous curve front tube. These latest design features reduce wind resistance and provide a cleaner surface in the most important area of the wing. The result is a less turbulent airflow, which has a positive effect on the lift to drag ratio and increases overall performance.
The Alpha V2 also features Ozone's new Rip-Stop material combination. The new Rip-Stop canopy material features an advanced Ultra-Flex coating that improves feedback in gusty conditions and provides smoother flight characteristics. The new technical Rip-Stop Dacron is super tough and is used on the front tube and struts. It improves strength, durability and longevity.
A brand new Fast Flow One-Pump inflation system makes set-up and packing quick and easy. It features single point inflation/deflation and high airflow between the struts and front tube, as well as clips to seal the tubes to prevent unwanted airflow in the event of damage.
Variable Bridle Geometry
Quick and easy to change without the need to add or remove extra lines. These bridle settings extend the wind range of the kite and give it even more versatility.

Freeride Setting
The ideal balance between performance and feel for all-round freeriding, foiling and surfing in most conditions. The freeride setting is the upper knot of the VBG pigtails (factory setting).
Freestyle / Onshore
The kite sits slightly further back in the wind window, with increased bar pressure and feedback. For those who unhook or prefer a slightly stronger bar feel, this could be the right setting . It is also suitable for onshore wave riding. The freestyle / onshore setting is the lower knot on the VBG pigtails.
Twintip riders will be surprised by the jumping and kiteloop characteristics of the Alpha V2. It has a smooth lift and hangtime with very precise feedback.
The lightweight design makes for incredible low-end performance, making the Alpha V2 a very competitive choice for light wind freeride and hydrofoil. The power to depower stroke is progressive and dynamic enough to give a smooth lift for tacks and jibes with a hydrofoil. For foiling in strong winds and chop, the drift of the smaller sizes of the Alpha, flown with short lines, is great fun.

In the shorebreak, the Alpha is perfect for drift-style surfing, as it floats quickly with the rider due to its light weight. The handling is direct and responsive. The Alpha is not as wave oriented as the Reo, but still offers solid performance in side shore and on shore conditions.
The water relaunch is simple. By simply turning the bar or using the relaunch balls on the Leiderlines, the kite rolls automatically into the relaunch position.
Traveling?
The Alpha fits in any luggage, it is incredibly light, has a minimal pack size and has a very wide range of uses.
The Alpha V2 comes with an ultra-light compressor bag as standard, which is perfect for traveling and protecting your kite on a daily basis. The bag is easy to use and compresses a kite to a minimal size.

Lieferzeiten bei Ozone Kites
Der Hersteller Ozone legt Wert darauf, dass keine Überproduktion den Markt kaputt macht und so der Preis Deines Kites auch für den späteren Wiederverkauf möglichst stabil bleibt. Die Produktion ist daher immer sehr eng an die aktuelle Nachfrage angelehnt. Seltene Modelle, wir die Hochleister R1 werden ausschließlich im Kundenauftrag produziert. Die Lieferzeit für Ozone Kites, die nicht in Deutschland (bei uns oder Ozone) auf Lager sind, liegt unter normalen Bedingungen bei rund 4-5 Wochen. Unter den aktuellen Corona-Bedingungen kann die Lieferzeit auch 8 Wochen betragen. Bitte bestelle also rechtzeitig!
