The Hyperlink is a true multi-purpose foil kite that bridges the gap between inflatables and foils - dynamic and engaging to ride with high performance characteristics. The third version brings a new sense of performance and covers almost every aspect of kiting. Freeride, hydrofoil, boost and float, air style or unhooked, backcountry snow missions, you name it - it delivers!
Completely redesigned
Ozone has completely redesigned the third version, incorporating new technologies developed during the design process of the high performance race winning R1 V4 and Chrono V4.

New planform and bridle line layout
A new planform, bridle line layout, internal structure, transverse sail shaping and increased cell count make the Hyperlink V3 more dynamic to fly, it sits further forward in the wind window with increased drive into the wind and is less physical to ride than the V2. In addition, the bar pressure has been reduced with the option to increase or decrease it by simply adjusting the brake line settings.
Powerful generation
These new design and performance features make the Hyperlink V3 feel lighter and more playful in the air. The handling and power delivery in the turns are its strengths and make it a fun kite for active flying in light conditions.
The upper wind range has also been massively increased to be comparable to a similar sized inflatable kite. The improved handling, lighter bar pressure and power delivery in the turns make it the dream snowkite to ride all day without fatigue.
High performance ultralight materials
The Hyperlink V3 is made of a durable, airtight and lightweight double rip-stop nylon material for the upper and lower surface. The material is coated with a unique coating that sheds water to improve flying characteristics and water launch.
Internal diagonals and straps
Internal tensioning straps work together with optimized diagonal ribs to distribute the load from the bridles evenly and effectively. This increases internal structural balance, while the top and bottom surfaces maintain the designed profile without being deformed by indirect stresses or loads.
Transverse SailShaping
The Leading Edge now features Transverse Sail Shaping, which creates a cleaner surface in the most important area of the wing. The result is a less turbulent airflow and longer skin adhesion, which has a positive effect on the lift to drag ratio and increases overall performance.
Flying line recommendations
Ozone recommends 23m lines for 45cm and 50cm bar widths (kite sizes 5m, 7m, 9m, 11m) and 25m lines for 55cm bar widths (kite size 13m). For hydrofoiling, shorter lines (10m to 21m) are preferred by a large number of users. You will feel a better "connection" to the kite, it will be more responsive and direct. In stronger winds, shorter lines significantly improve upwind performance.

Lieferzeiten bei Ozone Kites
Der Hersteller Ozone legt Wert darauf, dass keine Überproduktion den Markt kaputt macht und so der Preis Deines Kites auch für den späteren Wiederverkauf möglichst stabil bleibt. Die Produktion ist daher immer sehr eng an die aktuelle Nachfrage angelehnt. Seltene Modelle, wir die Hochleister R1 werden ausschließlich im Kundenauftrag produziert. Die Lieferzeit für Ozone Kites, die nicht in Deutschland (bei uns oder Ozone) auf Lager sind, liegt unter normalen Bedingungen bei rund 4-5 Wochen. Unter den aktuellen Corona-Bedingungen kann die Lieferzeit auch 8 Wochen betragen. Bitte bestelle also rechtzeitig!
