The Pure V1 is Ozone's brand new, exciting and affordable entry-level depower foil kite. It has been specifically designed to make the learning process and progression from the first session as accessible and easy as possible.

The construction of the Pure V1 is relatively simple, which helps to make it exceptionally stable and durable.

It launches easily and inflates smoothly and consistently as it climbs into the zenith without showing high acceleration. The handling is very progressive, which is ideal for use by a beginner with little or no previous kite experience.

The power transmission and development is very smooth. The depower capabilities of the kite can be discovered and understood very intuitively. This creates a good wind range / kite size ratio.

The Pure V1 gives you the calmness and composure to focus step by step on the next step needed to get going on the snow.

The Pure V1 is Ozone's exciting, affordable (from 649,- Euro complete with bar, kitebag, lines, line extensions, leash) new snowkite. The Ozone R&D team's defined goal for the development of the PURE V1 was to create a depowerable foil kite that makes the learning process from the first session as easy and accessible as possible for everyone.

The Pure V1, designed to turn the "weekend kiters" among us into snowkiters, comes in four sizes from 4 to 10 m². It can therefore cater for kiters of different weight classes. The 8 m² kite is designed to get an 80 kg rider going at around 10 knots. (Lighter or heavier riders opt for the 4, 6 or 10 m² sizes accordingly).

The steering and control of the Ozone Pure V1 is very progressive, which suits pilots with little or no experience with kites. The power delivery is smooth and constant and the depower is intuitive.

The kite design of the Pure V1 is relatively simple, which results in great stability in the air. It is easy to launch, inflates consistently and climbs to the zenith without much acceleration.

The Pure V1 comes with relatively short lines: 12 meters are enough to get newbees planing - and safer than the lines we use on the water (and sometimes on the snow), which are more than twice as long. The kite comes with 5m extensions - these help to get the kite planing on light wind days.

To land the kite yourself, simply pull the brake line that connects the two steering lines. The kite then floats gently to the ground. If the session is to continue, the brake is simply released again and the Pure V1 rises back up to the zenith without developing aggressive pressure.

If it becomes necessary to immediately and completely depower the kite (for example in an emergency situation), the safety system is pulled and the kite flies to the ground without pressure, hanging only on a front line.
