Pure versatility
The Cold Gold 31″ is a new shape developed by Carlos Martin. He has taken the tail from the Gussie and the nose from the Joy, so this shape stands for stability and maneuverability and gives you a feeling of surfing.
The new 31″ shape was developed with team rider Carlos Martin Cazorla from Barcelona. Carlos' skating combines wide, open lines with sharp turns. He enjoys riding vertical inside the bowl as much as he enjoys pumping and generating speed, always riding with flow and style.
This board was developed for high performance riders. The wider nose provides easy front foot control and the wider tail helps with the sharpest turns and maneuvers.
The Slide CMC Cold Gold board also works when cruising or in the pool. The Cold Gold 31″ stands for performance and is extremely maneuverable despite the 70 mm wheels. Iciar Sanchez has kept the design of the Slide Cold Gold 31" surf skateboard decidedly minimalist. A matter of taste? Not really! Actually only good.
Every year, Slide Surfskateboards launches a few new styles, shapes and colors on the market. As the German arm of the Basque company, we always ask ourselves before the season whether this or that model will be a success. When it comes to the 2026 models, everyone is excited and you're lucky if you get your hands on one of the newcomers.
When it comes to surf skating, the Cold Gold, like the Gussies or Diamondtails and all the others, is a safe bet thanks to its width. You can't go wrong with the shape.
We recommend the Performance for both advanced and beginners who want to train their balance. The 70 mm wheels roll over any obstacle and with the new version of the trucks, the CMC Cold Gold comes very close to surfing.
