Green Room
It's not often you say "surf artist" and really mean it, but Ryan Kleiner's passion for waves authentically drives his work. The Santa Barbara surfer, who shapes his own boards, has worked with brands like Quiksilver and True Ames and has been making waves for Carver for years. His work has endured, partly because it really captures something of the wave that drives Carver as the central force behind surfing, and partly because it is simply beautiful. But to capture that, you have to know the wave first, and Ryan has spent his time directly observing its ever-changing motion from the ocean.
The medium sized retro template provides plenty of platform for stable carving and a wider stance, perfect for cruising and pushing. With wave art by Ryan Kleiner.
Carver CX Trucks:
The CX Trucks are the hybrid of a surf and skate truck from Carver. On the one hand they have a lightweight standard RKP (Reverse King Pin) hanger and base, on the other hand a patented geometry that gets every bit of turn and pump out of the system.
The patented design means that the CX pumps like a C7, but lands airs and fakies with more stability in comparison. This not only enables airs but also adapts to the latest development of airs in surfing.
The CX also have more pump and a tighter turning radius than any other reverse kingpin truck on the market, but with no other parts. They have a similar feel to the C7, but are less extreme. So if you want a more familiar feel to your board, but still want to pump and surf, then the CX is the truck you want on a board like this.
The CX trucks are ideal for progressive airs, reverses and anyone who prefers a snappy turn.
Carver C7 Trucks:
The C7 truck is the signature truck that started it all at Carver. It is still the most responsive and fastest pumping surf truck of all time and is at the pinnacle of true surfskate performance.
The patented second axle of this front truck not only increases the turning radius of your carves, but also allows you to snap the nose and initiate turns from the tail. This dynamic generates thrust and propels you forward with increasing speed. The striking resemblance to surfing performance has made the C7 the first choice for surf training by professionals and amateurs.
