The ability to ride and have fun in much lighter winds than many other wind sports is very exciting.

That's why we looked at how to spend even more time on the water without compromising on the handling or performance of the wing. This is why the SuperNatural Short Span Design was created.

The SuperNatural SSD has a shorter span due to a longer strut length and additional side struts that allow for a more boxy shape in the wingtips. This shape is perfect for light wind performance! For even more ease of use, the angle of the dihedral (arc) has been increased so that the wingtips do not touch the water. In combination with the new rigid ErgoCarbon handles, these large wings are super easy to handle and absolute beasts for light wind performance.

The SUPERNATURAL SSD has been completely redesigned with a focus on weight and stiffness. The leading edge and struts are now made of high-strength polyester, which makes the entire wing even stiffer and leads to a drastic reduction in weight. In combination with the new full carbon grips, these wings seem to defy their size.

• THREE-STRUT DESIGN: Two additional struts allow stiffness to be maintained in a low aspect ratio design. This significantly increases efficiency and performance in light winds.
• AEROLIGHT FRAME: The new High Tenacity Polyester LE and the struts can tension the canopy better and make the wing even stiffer with a drastic weight reduction. This makes the SuperNatural one of the lightest wings with rigid handles on the market.
• HIGH STRENGTH TRAILING EDGE: Retains its shape over a long period of time.
• ERGOCARBON GRIP: Front handle with pistol grip for quick access during free flight and maintaining control over the angle of attack of the wing to adapt to the shape of the fingers. Made from 100% prepreg carbon for unsurpassed strength at only 60gr each.
• LIGHT, SOFT BATTEN: Prevents trailing edge flutter while being very light so the wing cannot be damaged during packing.
• EVOLUTIVE V-SHAPE: Each size of the SuperNatural has a specially tuned V-shape for optimum projected wingspan. A larger V-shape also helps to keep the wingtips out of the water and improves ease of use on larger sizes.

• VERTICAL TENSION STITCHES: The canopy seams run vertically along the wing, each seam stiffens and takes the majority of the load. This makes for a stiffer canopy that deforms minimally while riding and over time.
• TENSIONED CANOPY: For the most stable profile and wing, which gives a very direct feel with minimal flutter when riding and also ensures a very stable ride in a neutral riding style.

Key Points

• Extremely light. This year the focus was on making the wing as light as possible while keeping it stiff and efficient. Due to the reduced weight, the SUPERNATURAL is very easy to handle, remains free to fly even in light winds and significantly reduces arm fatigue.
• New carbon grips. All new carbon grips have been developed with a focus on ergonomics and weight. A pistol grip has been added at the front and a bumper to protect the board in the event of a fall.
• New profile. For early starts and high jumps, combined with a less twisted wing tip for unsurpassed upwind performance.
• Very direct. The canopy stretched over the entire wing provides a very direct response and minimizes flutter when sheeting or free-flying, so you can concentrate 100% on your riding.
• Natural forward thrust. As soon as you inflate this wing, you will feel how it naturally wants to shoot forward. This makes the SUPERNATURAL very efficient, comfortable and easy to ride upwind.
• Natural positive lift. The design goals focused on efficiency, stability, performance, natural positive lift and forward momentum. This was achieved through a special arc shape, a stiff frame for direct response, a unique profile for natural lift and a wing that expands naturally to fly forward as soon as the wind flows through.
• 3-strut construction. Two additional struts allow stiffness to be maintained in a low-aspect shape design. This significantly increases efficiency and performance in light winds.
• Wind range. We all know that light winds can pick up quickly. That's why the Canopy and its profile have been tuned to remain very controllable in higher wind speeds, so you don't have to worry about a wing change and can focus on what you love to do.
