Produces extremely powerful, clean jumps and explosive pops. Thanks to its lightweight, ultra-compact shape, it effortlessly conjures up switches and flips in the sky and always stays on its feet. With its playful turning ability, it practically craves the tightest turn radii - in flat water as well as in mushy wind waves or overhead swell.

When it comes to versatility, the smallest CORE Directional is definitely a big one. It offers endless control and pulls height like a machine. With its flat rocker line and straight outline, it planes even earlier than the Ripper 3, especially as a 5'3, making it our absolute light wind weapon.

No mass-produced goods, each one is unique. All CORE directionals are developed and designed on Fehmarn. They are then elaborately produced by hand: shaped, laminated and sanded. In this way, with a CORE Directional you get a wave board with the stylish look, feel and performance of an absolutely classic, authentic pro surfboard.

ACTIVE FOAM CORE
Classic polyurethane foam core with a vertical wood stringer running through the longitudinal section, which ensures a volume that is perfectly matched to the shape. The core is pre-milled by machine and then finished by hand. In combination with the rails, the core delivers very dynamic riding characteristics, fantastically soft and very controlled turns.

Flat Rocker
The 720 has the flattest bottom curve in the CORE directional range, planes even earlier than the Ripper 3, especially as a 5'3, and is therefore a real light wind wonder. The pronounced nose kick (bending up of the nose) ensures optimum control when fakie riding: i.e. crisp take-offs and agile turning. And it prevents the nose from peaking when landing.

THRUSTERFin SETUP
The symmetrical central fin is supported by two asymmetrical outer fins. This ensures an optimum combination of reliable board control and a loose surfing feeling in the wave. This so-called thruster arrangement is the most classic of all fin setups.

ORIGINALFCS II FIN SYSTEM
The 720 is equipped with fin boxes from the FCS II system. We deliberately rely on the world standard among fin systems, as it guarantees the best possible performance, variability and spare parts supply for both classic surfing and wave kiting. FCS fins are available worldwide even in the smallest surf stores and are backwards compatible with the FCS-I system.
