Carved offers you maximum comfort and adjustability with this high-performance binding. The new Carved Custom Ultra pads and straps have a new click buckle system that can be operated with one hand, as you know it from your snowboard binding. With this new "PowerTrim" system, you can not only adjust your binding precisely, you can also easily readjust it on the water at any time.
The Ultras can be perfectly adapted to the shape of your foot. The pad base plate is designed for 2 stance positions on the x-axis (board length); you have 11 angle options and 6 options for adjusting the y-axis (board width). There is no other pad/base system that has more adjustment options. The straps are equally customizable.
The neoprene and memory foam padding adapts to any foot size and shape. Carved Custom Ultra Pads are designed like a sneaker and offer the support of a boot.
With the Ultra Pads & Straps System, Carved Customs introduces a key technology from snowboarding to kiteboarding. Thanks to the new "Power Trim" mechanism, the straps can be opened as well as perfectly closed and adjusted with just one tap of the finger - effortlessly even while riding. In combination with the comfortable memory foam construction, the dual-axis ratchet closure offers a bombproof hold and perfect stability, almost on a par with boots. The variability of the Carved Customs Ultra binding is almost limitless: The baseplate allows for a wide range of stance angles and is not only adjustable in the X-axis (board length), but also offers different positions in the Y-axis (board width). The pre-setting of the straps is just as variable. Thanks to screwless strap lock wings with multi-stage anchor points in the pad, they can be adjusted not only in width, but also in relation to the pad in both the X and Y axes. In this way, every shoe size can be positioned in the optimum center of gravity of the board and pad without exception. Meanwhile, the super-soft neoprene inside, which encases an EVA core and memory foam, ensures maximum comfort. The outside is protected by a robust finish made of water-resistant synthetic leather.
Suitable for all boards with 16.5 cm inserts (the binding does not fit Imperator V boards!).
