The combination of PU core and fiberglass laminate gives the hull a harmonious character, characterized by dynamics and flex. What's new?

Almost everything except the construction and thruster configuration. In its fourth generation, the Ripper has a wider outline inspired by classic fish shapes and a new mini wallow tail that delivers an extra dose of bite in turns. Extra speed is generated by the now flatter angle of the side fins to the centerline of the hull. With its additional width and increased volume in the stance area, the board cannot be slowed down by an underpowered kite or powerless waves, which is why your favorite fourth generation Ripper may even be one size smaller.

Mini Swallow Tail
The fourth generation of the Ripper uses a mini swallow tail instead of the usual round tail. The larger surface area has a positive effect on the glide characteristics, speed and guidance in turns.

DOUBLE STRINGER
A wooden stringer runs along the centerline in the core, providing longitudinal flex control and giving the Ripper its unique ride feel. A second wooden stringer above it accommodates the inserts for the footstraps.

THRUSTERFin SETUP
Thruster setups offer greater agility and tighter turns compared to quad setups. They also release more easily from the water during radical maneuvers on the wave lip. A thruster configuration is also used in the fourth generation to maintain the usual loose riding feel. However, with the flatter angle of the side fins to the central axis of the hull, the fourth Ripper achieves an even higher speed than its predecessor

ORIGINALFCS II FIN SYSTEM
The FCS II system is a real game changer and enables the fins to be changed in just a few seconds - without the need for any tools. This is precisely why we continue to adhere to this system, which is the most widely used in the world. You will realize that this is a wise decision at the latest when you lose a fin on the reef during your next trip into the distance and need a quick replacement. Of course, older generations of FCS fins can also be mounted with a grub screw.

Scope of delivery: The Ripper is supplied with a rear traction pad, leash attachment and FCS II fin boxes.
