A soft, directional board that can ride the whole mountain on any day
The Compact was made for all-mountain performance. The standard camber profile provides enough camber directly underfoot for bounce and responsiveness with a long nose with rocker for float and turn initiation. The square sidecut improves turn initiation and exit as well as edge hold. Slimewalls® offer a relaxed ride and better grip as they absorb shocks. The construction with roll-in sidewall reinforces the board and makes it lighter. The Compact is a directional all-mountain board with a soft flex that allows riders of all levels to have fun on the mountain.

DIRECTIONAL HYBRID ROCKER:
A directional shape with a hybrid profile that has more rocker than camber.
BIAXIAL GLASS FIBER:
90° and 0° angles, fun and forgiving.
EXTRUDED BASE:
The industry standard extruded 1500 Ptex base material. Good wax absorption and easy to repair.
WMNS PERFORMANCE™ CORE:
Designed specifically for the women's line, this core combines lightweight Paulownia wood stringers with high-strength Aspen.
SLIMEWALLS®:
RIDE's exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and stretchy, absorbing impact instead of deflecting it. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in the Slimewalls® provides a smooth interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you ride on. In addition, the Slimewalls® are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
ROLL-IN CONSTRUCTION:
Unique 3D structure built around SIDE's urethane Slimewall® sidewalls. Designed to increase the overall strength of the board, prevent topsheet chipping and reduce weight.
IMPACT PLATES:
Mounted under each binding area to increase compressive strength and prevent board breakage where it matters most.
QUADRATIC SIDECUT:
A blend of three radii to improve turn initiation and exit while providing the best possible grip. This design is developed individually for each model based on its shape and riding style.
