The Berzerker was designed by one of the smoothest snowboarders in the world, Jake Blauvelt. Jake wanted a board that would always and everywhere follow his smooth, casual style. You'll be impressed by how smooth the transition between turns is, which is achieved by the rocker in the nose and some taper in the tail. This makes the board glide better in deep snow and quick edge changes become very easy.
The Tapered Quadratic Sidecut has been improved for even more stability and edge hold. Carbon Slimerods® 2.0 bring carbon fiber for pop and a urethane core for smooth landings. The Berzerker is for all all-mountain riders who want performance. Like a Viking longship, the Berzerker is designed to sail on the edge and plow through the deep, break through ice and take you to the Valhalla of snowboarders. Pay attention to the width, as the standard sizes are quite narrow and optimized for smaller boots. The wide sizes are more medium width and therefore a good option for boot sizes 11, 12 and 13. HYBRID-GLASS:
Triaxial on top, biaxial on the bottom; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response at speed.
PERFORMANCE™ CORE:
High-strength Aspen is combined with bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to achieve the perfect balance between strength and lightness.
CARBON SLIMERODS®:
RIDE's Slimerods® give these already fun and playful boards the added liveliness that sets them apart from other boards. Strategically placed in the tip and/or tail of the board, this technology adds pop without the stiffness normally associated with snappy boards. Consisting of flat carbon rods wrapping a urethane slime core, the Slimerods® have carbon for massive pop and a slime core that cushions the landing.
SLIMEWALLS®:
RIDE's exclusive Slimewalls® are forgiving and stretchy, absorbing impact instead of deflecting it. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in the Slimewalls® provides a smooth interaction with snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. In addition, the Slimewalls® are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
CARBON-ARRAY-LAMINATE:
This force distribution technology provides total board control in any stance position. Wide carbon stringers in the binding zone collect input from every stance width and pressure angle. The rider's input is then transferred to the opposite contact point for maximum board control.
IMPACT PLATES:
Mounted under each binding area to improve compression strength and prevent board breakage where it matters most.
SQUARE SIDECUT:
A blend of three radii to improve turn initiation and exit while providing the best possible grip. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
