The Loaded Fathom is a compact board designed for both beginners and experienced skaters.
SPEED The Fathom is built for speed and momentum. With its large wheels (up to 105 mm) and maneuverable axles, this board bridges the gap between board and bike, effortlessly reaching speeds beyond the comfort zone of a conventional skateboard. Get a good workout, explore the roads less traveled, or get to class/work without breaking a sweat. It's entirely up to you.
CONTROL The Fathom is stable and easy to control, even at high speeds in rush hour traffic. The low ride height ensures stability and ease when pushing and foot braking. The wide deck provides even more confidence, while the raised corners of the deck reduce the risk of a foot bite.
FUN Double drop brackets and relatively narrow trucks make this board surprisingly responsive and maneuverable. A board with wheels this size has no right to turn this well.
TWO SETUPS Includes Paris 150mm trucks and a choice of 105mm Dad Bod (80a orange) or 85mm Caguama (77a blue) wheels. The Dad Bod setup is fun to ride, has a huge amount of drive and is easy to ride over everything. The Caguama setup is a fun, accessible alternative that offers fast acceleration and a lower riding position. Here at Loaded we prefer the Dad Bod setup for its epic rollover power.
CONSTRUCTION The 8-ply maple construction, slight camber for road-friendly suspension and raised corners (with more aggressive grip tape) keep your feet out of the way and reduce the risk of pinching.
Large enough for comfort, but compact enough to take on public transportation and store under your desk.
GRAPHICS To evoke the spirit of adventure and discovery, the current graphics were inspired by historical Polynesian expansion and their amazing ocean navigation. Nanastudio created this collage based on Polynesian ships and artifacts.
