The double drop deck has a lower center of gravity, which significantly increases riding stability and allows you to apply more lateral force to the wheels so that you can initiate slides more easily. The progressive concave together with the drops offers you easy freeriding with a firm stance in any situation. Furthermore, the deck is designed with a 1/4 inch rocker so that pushing is almost effortless due to the proximity to the ground. The stiffness of the deck gives you complete confidence even at high speeds, and the intense curves of the Nexus are not only comfortable but also ergonomic to support you safely over long distances.
The construction of the deck and the material composition have been tested and tried for a long time, but now Pantheon has decided to combine old school with innovation. The decks are made from 8 layers of Canadian maple. In addition, two layers of triaxial fiberglass were integrated below and above the maple layer. This results in outstanding stiffness and a minimally dampening flex.
