The Sonar is performance-oriented and specially tailored to the needs of foiling/race foiling.
Characteristic is the narrow profile, which creates a favorable lower power transmission point.
The Curv partial construction improves the distribution of forces and supports the stressed areas of the back when foiling.
Ergonomic leg loops, inspired by climbing harness technology, allow freedom of movement without pressure points.
ION's slim and featherweight Spectre Bar (including kite hook) further enhances the direct feel.
To prevent the hook plate from sliding up, it comes with the Downforce_Loop, which helps to maintain the low-lying hook position.
Includes Kite_Knife Multitool 2.

Multitool with Allen key and PH3 can be used for fins, footstraps or the modular hook system of the C_Bars.

Stainless steel ring on the Handle Pass Leash ensures smooth sliding back and forth of the Safety Leash.
Downforce:
The Downforce Loop provides the ability to hold the spreader bar down via a webbing deflection system to prevent the bar from tipping up when the kite generates upward pull.
