The Apex is the perfect harness for anyone looking for flexibility combined with good support properties in the back area.
- Hybrid shell construction: Consisting of partially preformed Curv Composite material for reinforcement in the back area and flexibility on the sides.
- Ergo_Pad: The replaceable Ergo_Pad on the inside of the harness offers optimum lumbar support in two profiles (medium and high support). For individual back support & injury prevention.
- Spectre Bar: ION's latest innovation in spreader bars with incredible lightweight and narrow profile. Includes aluminum hooks.
- ultra light: A lightweight construction in play with a clever mix of materials helps this model earn the title of the lightest and most durable hard shell harness on the market.
With a flex index of 8, it is one of the medium-hard harnesses in the ION range.
The Apex was developed with the rider's health in mind and features a replaceable Ergo_Pad on the inside.
The pad has an integrated channel and raised trigger points on the outside and is supplied in 2 different thicknesses.
These prevent injuries in the lower back area, reduce pain and increase comfort.
Both pads are included and are attached with a very strong Velcro fastener.
Simply try them out and choose the one you feel most comfortable with.
Flexible side panels and an integrated flexible belt ensure sufficient freedom of movement, while the 3D_Plus spine supports the back.
The result is a good balance between freedom of movement and support for the back muscles thanks to the higher cut shape.
The harness is an absolute lightweight thanks to the use of the Curv partial construction, the non-water-absorbing HD_Foam and the slim Spectre Bar (including kite hook).
The Curv_Flaps of the Spectre Bar ensure seamless and optimum power distribution throughout the entire harness.
The Apex comes with an integrated Kite_Knife Multitool 2.0.
