Recommended water temperatures: 10°C / 50F+

Sizing tip: Order your regular shoe size or half a size smaller, as the shoes will expand to fit when molded. For example, if you are a size 10.5, order a 10. If you are a size 10, order a size 10.

NOTE: If your feet are particularly narrow or have a low volume, you should size down even further.

3D molded natural rubber sole

Like all Solite Series 2.0 boots, the 3mm Custom Pro 2.0 features a 3D molded 1mm thick natural rubber sole that wraps the toe and heel for added durability and protection from rocks, sea urchins and reefs. The one-piece sole design leaves no exposed gaps between the sole pods for added protection and durability.

Custom-Fit 2.0 Thermofoam sole with internal mini-split  

Solite's patented, thermoformable 2.0 thermofoam sole has also been completely redesigned with a more comfortable, internally split mini-split toe. The micro-split is only 1 cm long and provides warmth for round toes with a split toe area. The Thermo Foam sole is 4 mm thick in the toe and heel area and 3 mm thick elsewhere.

3-point strap with floating D-ring

The Custom Pro 2.0 has a unique, quick-drying Thermal Rebound lining material in the upper. This material consists of a thin, flexible metal mesh layer between the neoprene and the outer lining, which reflects body heat back to the skin for increased warmth. Lab tests with the Thermal Rebound laminate have shown that insulation is improved by more than 10%, extending sessions and increasing your chances of catching the wave of the day.


TatexFlex back strap

When the strap is tightened, the boot anchors evenly under the arch and in the back of the boot, providing instant response and a slip-free fit for all arch and ankle profiles. Solite's floating D-ring on the strap is not sewn in place, so it naturally "floats" into the optimal position on the foot.Solite's 3-point strap is also 100% Tatex coated

Thermal Rebound Lining

The Custom Pro 2.0 features a unique, quick-drying Thermal Rebound lining material in the upper. TatexFlex-Spine

The calf area is equipped with Solite's exclusive Tatex Flex-Spine. The Flex-Spine serves three different purposes:

• Increases durability with an abrasion-resistant rubber-like surface.
• Reduces stretch and acts like a shoehorn, allowing the heel to slide into the shoe more easily.
• Provides a tacky outer surface that holds the wetsuit leg in place and prevents flushing out.

EZ-O cuff with overkill seams

Solites EZ-O cuff provides a seamless barrier against flushing with a larger surface area than other O-ring seals, making it much easier to put on and take off and reducing stress on the seams. To reduce bulk under the neoprene leg and make donning and doffing easier, the EZ-O plate is reduced to 2mm thickness. As the booties are subject to heavy use, we have made no compromises in the construction of our neoprene seams. Our overkill neoprene seams are triple glued, blind stitched and then externally sealed with liquid seam sealant to ensure maximum durability and longevity.

Reinforced Stealth-Loop

To make it easier to put on and take off, Solite has integrated the inconspicuous Stealth-Loop into the heel. The Stealth Loop is laminated between the neoprene and our co-molded rubber/textile heel reinforcement patch, providing incredible durability and tensile strength. The Stealth Loop is also coated with Tatex for added strength and zero water absorption.

Split-Toe Heat-Booster Socks in the Box

The unsung hero of the Solite "system", the knit Split-Toe Heat-Booster socks are included in the box. Knitted from a nylon/poly/spandex blend, the Heat-Boosters stay warm and comfortable even when wet. The advantages of the Heat-Boosters are manifold:

1. Makes boots easier to put on and take off and reduces stress on the seams.
2. Increases comfort as it forms a soft barrier between the feet and the Thermofoam sole.
3. Increases warmth and thus extends the duration of training and comfort.
4. Absorbs excess water from rinsing to prevent puddling in boots.
5. Absorbs bacteria to reduce boot odor.
6. Simply machine wash and dry.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE

Solite boots offer the best performance, comfort and warmth when they are the right size and fit properly. Here are some tips to make sure you choose the right size for an optimal fit:

If you have average/wide feet:

You should buy your shoe size or half a size smaller. Solite boots should be a snug fit when they are delivered, only the heat molding process will stretch them to the perfect size. If your boots feel too big in any dimension (length/width/arch), we recommend that you order one size smaller. Even if the boots feel tight after unpacking, the thermoforming process stretches them so that they fit snugly but comfortably.

NOTE: If you plan to use the 1mm Neoprene Heat Booster Socks in your boots, you may not need to size down. If you have wide feet, you should even choose half a size larger if you want to use the 1mm Neoprene Heat Booster Socks. For example, if you have size 10.5 and want to use the 1mm Neoprene Heat Booster Socks, size 11 might fit better. This applies in particular to the 5 mm boots, which do not stretch as much as 3 mm boots during heat molding.

If you have narrow/less voluminous feet:

You can choose your shoe size one size smaller. When heat molding, the shoe stretches to fit your length and narrows to fit your narrower foot. Again, the 3mm boots will stretch more easily than the 5mm boots when thermoforming, so bear this in mind when choosing your size.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOT MOLDING

Solite Boots are the world's first and only heat-molded watersports boots that can be customized.

Customization can be done in your kitchen with nothing more than a kettle. Watch the video below and follow the instructions exactly to heat mold your Solite boots. Do not use any other methods of heat molding other than boiling water. The use of ovens, microwaves, heat guns, etc. will void the warranty.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Bring water to a boil (you will need about 3 cups of boiling water per boat).
2. While the water is boiling, roll down the cuffs of your Solite boots and place them in a sink.
3. Put on the Solite Heat Booster socks if you want to wear them in the boots.
4. Once the water is bubbling and boiling, carefully pour it into your Solite boots (in the sink), just below the seam where the neoprene upper is attached to the sole. See photo.

1. Wait 5 minutes for the boiling water to soften the sole material.
2. After 5 minutes, carefully pour the hot water out of the Solite boot (one boot at a time) and briefly rinse the inside of the boot with cold water to lower the surface temperature and prevent burns. Test with your hand first. It should be as warm as you can stand for your foot.
3. Place your foot in the Solite boot while wearing the Heat Booster sock if you want to use the socks regularly. Make sure your big toe sits comfortably in the toe opening and your heel is flush in the heel pocket.
4. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for the other boot.
5. Fasten the ankle straps of the boot if this model has any.
6.  Walk around in your Solite boots for the next 10-15 minutes to allow the boots to mold comfortably to your feet as they cool down.
7. Once your Solite boots have cooled to room temperature, the molding process is complete.
8. If you are not happy with the fit, you can reshape the Solite boots by repeating the steps above. Your Solite boots should feel completely comfortable, almost like part of your foot.
