The Piuma mast is SABFOIL's most radical surf mast and comes with R6 standards to ensure minimum weight and maximum hull flow.

The result of many hours of prototyping is a mast that raises your performance to the highest possible level in every area of use.
The PIUMA mast was designed with the goal of minimizing drag while achieving the best stiffness/torsion/weight ratio in SABFOIL's product line. It consists of a unique blend of unidirectional, smooth and multiaxial high modulus carbon fibers of varying weights. The stiffness of the high modulus is combined with an inner lightweight core. All this, together with a special speed profile, ensures excellent hydrodynamic performance.
It comes with SAB Pro Finish, i.e. sanded by hand to obtain a matt surface, for an elegant Made in Italy product with maximum performance.
To top it all off... Titanium. Piuma's masts are equipped with titanium components, including bushings and an updated module for the quick coupling system, which has been improved not only in terms of materials but also in terms of design to ensure maximum lightness, functionality, corrosion and wear resistance.
*** High modulus carbon parts are super stiff and powerful, but for this reason they are also fragile and vulnerable to impacts. FOR THIS REASON, THE PIUMA LINE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR HARD JUMPS AND FREESTYLE, AND ITS USE FOR THESE TYPES OF ACTIVITIES CAN BE DANGEROUS, AND THEREFORE NOT ALLOWED OR COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.
