Animated Polymer System ("APS")

As the name suggests, this compound is very lively and offers high restoring forces with lots of control and tilt. At  the same hardness value, the RipTide APS bushings will turn 10% to 15% more than bushings of the same hardness from other manufacturers.

In addition, you can't change much of the behavior of the APS bushings by tightening the kingpin nut.

We recommend tightening the nut only until it becomes difficult to turn the bushings by hand. Use a flat washer for less resistance and a domed washer for more resistance.
