The MAGMA-Hood has a double flap: one stays outside the collar of the wetsuit, while the other comes inside. This creates a double barrier against water ingress and ensures that the hood stays in place. Reflex skin jerseys have been used to line the areas where you need mobility: Neck, face, chin. The head and ears are made of Glide-skin neoprene, which is waterproof and windproof and combats the wind chill effect. The inside is lined with MAGMA PLUS, which provides unbeatable warmth and dries quickly.

Update: From the FW24 collection onwards, all MANERA hoods have been updated and now have a larger face opening. It offers more comfort and ensures that you can wear the hood under your chin without it pinching.

The industry standard is to develop 2D patterns and try to fit them to a 3D body. MANERA uses computer design to model well-fitting wetsuits in 3D and then uses innovative software to convert them into a precise 2D pattern for the factory.
