Since the beginning of KOLD shapes, the KOLD shapes team has been working on the development of the LEGEND. A true wave board created to hold your rail on tight bottom turns and release the fins on your most powerful cut backs.

KOLD shapes is very proud to finally present this classic but progressive shape and ultra strong and light construction. The LEGEND has a single concave and its outline has been developed to offer maximum control at higher speeds. The rocker is focused on the tail and nose, with a moderate rocker in between to further enhance higher speeds. This rocker line also improves the light wind and upwind characteristics of the Thruster.

Each KOLD shapes Legends board is handcrafted in a complex sandwich construction. The unique foam holds up to 50,000 kg per square meter, does not absorb water and at the same time has a unique flex. To further improve the strength and flex, KOLD shapes decided to add a flax fiber stringer to the top and bottom of the board. This natural fiber is an addition to Sustain Surf's Eco Board Certificate. All components are handmade in Portugal.

The shape works perfectly strapless and the squash tail will release like a spring into your strapless airs. KOLD shapes has also included durable inserts so that you can easily mount your straps! No matter which option you choose - endless waves with tight turns will be the result. KOLD shapes aim to constantly improve the sustainability of their products, so they are more than proud of their durability and longevity. The LEGEND is built to survive endless waves.

The four-time European freestyle kiteboarding champion has had his own kite brand, KOLD shapes, for several years now and tries to produce kiteboards that are as environmentally friendly as possible. The KOLD shapes boards are manufactured in Europe from renewable raw materials and CO2 certificates guarantee climate-neutral production.
