The CONNECT2 is a 4-liner Control Bar with Single Frontline Safety-System. The bar is color-coded for left/right and front/rear and is easy to distinguish. The lightweight control bar weighs 0.84 kg (incl. flying lines) and has a connection option for a brake line. The flying lines have a total length of 21 m and are equipped from the Con-trol Bar in direction Kite with 14 m + 7 m extension . The front lines can be manually untwisted via a swivel above the SIMPLE Quick Release . The release travel is 3 m and is matched to the product lines PEAK and VIRON . All other kites in the FLY-SURFER portfolio require a longer release path, in order to be able to fully blow out . The CONNECT2 Control Bar can be converted to the 5-line B-Safe system, which tightens the kite horizontally before it drops to the ground without pressure. The length of the depower travel is 45 cm and the length of the adjuster travel 20 cm. The floaters can optionally be removed, the steering lines underneath have a knotted ladder to extend the steering lines.

CONNECT2 VS CONNECT1
The CONNECT2 Control Bar is supplied as a 4-liner with FLS (Frontline Safety Sys-tem).
The FLS end line is sheathed in blue and equipped with a swivel ball. The line hardly shortens or twists. This measure prevents the shortening of a single front line, which would result in the independent steering of the kite to one side.
The scope of delivery includes a FLS end line (blue) instead of the depower tam-pen . The blue FLS end line has a cover, which can be worn through after very heavy use . In this case the enclosed white line becomes visible. Replacement with the enclosed FLS end line is essential.
The conversion from 21 m to 14 m flying line length has been considerably simplified and works in the same way as with the FORCE and INFINITY Control Bar. To do this, the flying line extensions are looped out and the FLS and B-Safe safety systems remain fully functional.
The CONNECT2 now has pigtails to prevent wear of the splices on the flying lines.

| The CONNECT Control Bar has been specially configured for products with the B-Safe system. After release, the safety system is guided on a 5th line, which pulls the kite together via a subsequent split. The safety system is only compatible with the PEAK and VIRON product lines. |
| Can the CONNECT Control Bar be used with SOUL or SONIC, or other FLYSURFER products? |
| Due to the 3 m long release path, SOUL, SONIC, STOKE, BOOST, VMG cannot be flown with the CONNECT Control Bar! In an emergency situation, the kite cannot be released after the safety system has been activated and generates a high residual pull. Use is life-threatening! The CONNECT Control Bar can only be used with PEAK and VIRON! |
| Can I still use the B-Safe system if I shorten the flying lines of the CONNECT Control Bar? |
| Yes, the B-Safe system is fully functional with 14m lines, we recommend this length for training / school / strong winds. |
| Is the B-Safe system available for other FLYSURFER kites? |
| No, the B-Safe system is not available for the SOUL, SONIC, STOKE, BOOST and VMG product lines. |
| Can the B-Safe system be used to land kites? |

| Why was a high split of the front lines (high Y) chosen for the CONNECT Control Bar? |
| The CONNECT Control Bar has been developed for kites with low or medium aspect ratio, the high split of the front lines improves the bar feedback. To prevent the B-Safe line from sagging from the adjuster to the kite, it is guided up to the split. |
| Can the CONNECT Control Bar be flown as a 4-line setup? |
| The CONNECT Control Bar can be flown as a 4-line or 5-line setup. |
| Is there a chicken loop for harnesses with slider bars? |
| No, the SIMPLE Quick Release is only available in the current edition. Using a harness with slider bars will damage the chicken loop. The claim is void! |
| Can I retrofit the Snowkite Breakline for my CONNECT1? |
| Yes, it is possible to retrofit the Snowkite Breakline. Please order the Steering Leader Line Set CONNECT2 in the online store and replace the lines yourself. |
