Armstrong knows that foot position is critical to maintaining maximum control at all times, and that it's unique to each rider based on weight and size. We designed our tail pad to ride on a carbon plate that's adjustable in position. This means you can adjust the rear kick in just the right place so your rear foot is always in the perfect position. They have found that it's good to start foiling with your back foot directly over the mast, this is the natural position. Once you're up and riding, you can experiment with putting your back foot directly in front of or behind the mast to find the ideal position for your weight and style.
