The Outer Banks 33.85" is the new high performance board for 2024 and beyond
A new, egg-shaped board that tries to combine the best aspects of all other HP boards from YOW. Generously wide from nose to tail to give you room for error, a stable surface and a good and immediate response in tight turns.
The Outer Banks Surfskate has a high concave and a wide, almost symmetrical tail and nose kick. It's designed to keep your feet in place at all times, giving you the confidence to hit the harder spots and make tighter maneuvers. The short wheelbase (17″) means you can feel the response to every movement and make sharper turns. Mounted on the Meraki system (S5) and 66x51mm 78A Ura wheels, their grip will help you make those fast turns with full confidence while maintaining your speed.
All YOW decks are made from 7-ply Hard Rock Maple, responsibly sourced from areas under forest protection to protect, preserve and regenerate nature's biodiversity, and pressed with a water-based glue. All vehicles are molded in the Basque Country and comply with the REACH regulation to ensure the protection of human health and the environment. The wheels are manufactured in our own workshop using a super high rebound formula with high quality urethane.
