Landyachtz: A class of its own

The founding story of Landyachtz almost reads like a teen movie. In 1997, old school friends Michael Perreten and Thomas Edstrand met again at the University of Victoria in Canada. They hadn't seen each other for years, but immediately hit it off again - that was the birth of the Landyachtz brand.

Perreten and Edstrand loved skating. Even as children, the two taught each other tricks and hunted for new speed records on the downhill. As a result, even after years apart, they still had plenty to talk about. What followed, you can imagine. Small talk turned into shop talk, it turned into rum spinning and finally the two decided to start their own label: Landyachtz

A heart for downhill

In the meantime, almost 20 years later, Landyachtz has established a firm place for itself in the longboard scene. The name of the label stands for a very special longboard discipline like no other: downhill riding.

The boards from Landyachtz, which were made for the fast-paced races, are incredibly durable and won't let you down - no matter how high your top speed may be.
