The Grønland from Kold Shapes is a foil board for riders for whom both performance and sustainability are particularly important.
The unique construction is based on a solid paulownia core, which is milled over several hours to create the special stringers. These distribute the forces acting on you and your equipment evenly. This makes your new foil board particularly light, so you avoid unnecessary weight. The stringers are also sheathed with the particularly stable paulownia wood and sealed with fiberglass and bio-based resin.
The foil box has been reinforced with carbon material to make your board particularly durable and stable. Sustainsurf has therefore awarded the Grønland the Gold Level Standard.
The nose rocker has been designed higher than on other foil boards so that you can touch down and regain lift more easily, making it very easy to ride for both beginners and freeriders. The volume supports you as a beginner with your first maneuvers and is also the perfect backing for freestylers who want to try out new styles. The distinctly stiff construction makes the board incredibly responsive for jumps, carves and high-speed moments.
The 6 integrated plugs provide different stance positions for every rider, so you can ride strapless, with one, two or even three straps.
