Radical wakestylers, freestylers and unhooked kiters will prefer the larger available chicken loop. Its size makes unhooking and re-hooking easy and intuitive. Of course, the distance to the trim adjuster increases, so you should keep that in mind. To prevent accidental unhooking, use the chicken stick and if you don't need it, simply push it outside the loop where it won't get in the way.
