Light and robust. The SLC is as light as a full carbon foil and yet more robust. Due to the anisotropic properties of carbon, aluminum is the much better choice of material for the mast of an all-round foil, as it is decidedly stiffer. The same properties make carbon the perfect choice for front wings and stabilizers. MAST
Produced using an extrusion process, our aluminum masts are more resistant to pressure than most carbon masts and are also particularly light thanks to the frame construction. The perfectly shaped trailing edge ensures absolute silence during the ride, because singing foils are a real pleasure killer. Foil beginners and surf foilers should consider the 71 mast, while the 92 mast is an excellent all-round solution for everyone else.
The SLC mast has a progressive, thin-walled five-stringer design that effectively reinforces the areas of highest forces, while the precise fit ensures that the mast forms a bombproof connection with the fuselage.
