When developing the FiveStar hub, MBS took the successful RockStar II hub design and adapted it to 8- and 9-inch tires by adding a second, internal rim lip.

By slightly increasing the wall thicknesses, MBS was able to use a lighter and slightly more economical, impact-resistant material that has proven to be a perfect fit for this versatile all-purpose hub.

The maximum recommended tire pressure is 50 psi. Riders looking to run higher pressures should check out the Rock Star II or Rock Star Pro hubs.
