How do I find the right foil for wingfoiling?
If you are faced with the decision to buy a wingfoil board, you will quickly realize that the topic is extremely complex and you need to clarify a variety of parameters for yourself:
- Which mast length?
- Size of the front wing?
- Low aspect or high aspect?
- Short or long fuselage?
- Aluminum or carbon?

What other accessories do I need for wingfoiling?
In addition to the board and wing, you definitely need a leash for both the wing and the board. It is a matter of taste whether you use straight leashes or coiled leashes. You can attach them to your wrist or ankle or to a belt around your belly.
Especially for beginners, an impact protection vest and helmet are recommended.
As with all other water sports, you also need a temperature-adapted wetsuit and, in the cold season, neoprene boots and, if necessary, neoprene gloves.
Make sure your foil comes complete with protective covers and a carrying bag. Some manufacturers offer complete sets, others require you to order the protective covers and the bag separately. We will be happy to advise you on this.
A bag for a fixed foil board is also a useful accessory for your equipment.
