What is so special about these water sports?

When you sit on your board and concentrate fully on the waves, you are in the here and now and nothing else matters at that moment. Wakeboarding, on the other hand, is an action sport that can be compared to snowboarding on water. The moment when the suit of the lift arrives in your body, you get a terrific adrenaline rush and are directly concentrated only on this ride. All other thoughts are pushed aside and you can completely let off steam while doing tricks over obstacles and jumps.

Wakesurfing is a variation of wakeboarding where you are pulled by a boat first. So you are sure to get an adrenaline rush with this sport as well. However, here you have a clearer feeling of freedom than in wakeboarding. It's about actually surfing on the wake behind the boat, so you let go of the rope after a while and are completely free in your movements. Your attention is only on yourself, your board and the water.

Surfing and wakesurfing develop your balance skills and train your fitness extremely, because you need all the muscles in your body to stand up on the board as well as the surfing movement.
