Lib Tech SNOWBOARDS
Lib Tech is an established snowboard manufacturer from the USA with the highest quality standards. The brand was founded in 1994 by Mike Olson and is now part of the Mervin Manufacturing group. When its founder Mike Olson built his first snowboard in 1977 and sold it under the name "Gnu", he could not have guessed what a success story it would become.
Due to trademark disputes over the name "Gnu," Olson first had to bet everything on the Lib Tech brand. However, the problems were quickly solved and the two strong snowboard brands Lib Tech and Gnu were born. Today Lib Tech is one of the leading snowboard brands in the world, manufactures high quality snowboards, splitboards, freeski, skateboards, wakesurf boards and surfboards. Each Lib Tech board is handcrafted in the northwestern U.S., near Canada, and manufactured in an environmentally friendly, resource-saving manner.

Lib Tech - innovative snowboard technologies:
Magne-Traction®
Seven different edges that provide significantly more control and grip and still move the snowboard world - that's Magne-Traction, another legendary invention by Lib Tech from Mervin. The patented technology of Lib Tech provides a better riding experience and more fun on the snowboard. Magne-Traction is a departure from the long, gently curved sidewall and edge of a traditional snowboard and uses a serrated edge consisting of seven bumps in the sidewall. These bumps are placed at the points where you put your weight on the snowboard for maximum grip and edge control. Turns ice into powder! Magne Traction Technology has won several awards including Snowboarder Magazine's Tester's Choice Award, several Transworld Good Wood Awards and Future Magazine Awards.
Banana Technology - Rocker/Camber hybrid construction
in 2004, the pioneers at Lib Tech started the all-terrain rocker revolution with their Banana Technology and sparked a revolution in the snowboard industry with their Banana snowboard skate. Unlike traditional cambered snowboards that curve upward, the Banana Shape snowboards curve downward, allowing the snowboard to rest on a flat surface in the center. Lib Tech Banana Technology is made for unlimited freestyle fun all over the mountain, provides great turning ability and makes canting almost impossible. Easy to ride, incredibly fun in the snow and fast learning progress for beginners characterize the lengendary Snowboard Skate Banana still distinguishes. A snowboard that can handle hardpack, park, jibbing and powder turns. Enjoy!
C2 - the perfection of the original Banana contour
C2 is a shorter, more aggressive banana shape and the perfect all-terrain contour. Especially for powder fans, but also perfect in the park, on the slopes or backcountry. With legendary all-around snowboarder Travis Rice at their side, Lib Tech has found the perfect balance between rocker and camber. So you have the power and precision you need to ride the best lines with your snowboard. Extra firm pressure for power, pop, precision and complete stability combined with medium pressure between your feet for grip and comfort.
C3 Camber - powerful, precise and aggressive
C3 Hybrid Camber profile gives you ultimate edge control, pop, power and precision and is ideal for aggressive snowboarding. Whether freestyle, shredding in the park, backcountry and wild tricks - the mild rocker in the middle of the snowboard provides an extra portion of float, just when you need it. Jamie Lynn, Austen Sweetin and Fredi Kalbermatten love this power contour from Lib Tech.
